Who Are We?

About NNPG

Founded in 2019 by a lead investigator with over 30 years of experience, the North Nottinghamshire Paranormal Group (NNPG) began as a local community hub for those interested in researching and debating hauntings. As a non-profit organisation, we rely entirely on fundraising and donations to cover essential operating costs, including insurance, equipment, and venue hire.

We are investigators, not ghost hunters. We approach every claim with scientific scepticism, finding natural explanations for the vast majority of reported activity. When a claim cannot be easily explained, we conduct rigorous data collation and scrutiny, sharing our findings openly with the wider paranormal community.

Since our inception, NNPG has expanded significantly. Today, we have a large membership of like-minded people. We design and build our own investigative equipment, host educational training events, organise public investigations, and will soon launch our own custom merchandise.

Our Mission

Our mission is to investigate anomalous and unexplained phenomena through a strict, objective, and evidence-based approach. We strive to separate fact from fiction, rule out natural explanations first, and document our findings with integrity to educate the public and advance responsible paranormal research.

Our Core Values
